The environmental protection sector in the Kingdom has received great attention since 1981 AD, when the first institutional work began with the establishment of the Department of Meteorology and Environmental Protection. Then came the stages of development, construction, and legislation that supported the protection of the environment and the preservation of its resources. At the time of the vision, gracious approval was issued to adopt the National Strategy for the Environment and the regulations of the institutional framework for the sector through the establishment of the National Center for Oversight of Environmental Compliance, in addition to four other centers, and gracious approval was also issued for the new environmental system, to reflect all this seriousness and determination to achieve national goals. Important, to reflect positively on achieving the goals of the environmental work system in the Kingdom and achieving regional and international goals. In light of these historic decisions that took place in the country’s environment; Today we are.
